The G2 Gallery Presents: Helping Los Angeles’s Mountain Lions: Update on the Liberty Canyon Crossing
May 7th, 2015, 7:00-9:00pm
This fascinating talk, timed to coincide with G2′s “A Wildlife Crossing Over the 101” exhibit, features two of the foremost experts on the mountain lions of Los Angeles: National Park Service Biologist Jeff Sikich and California Director of the National Wildlife Federation Beth Pratt-Bergstrom. Sikich, who captured and collared LA’s most famous cougar, P-22, will enlighten us on the state of cougars in the Santa Monica Mountains and the work being done to save them. Pratt-Bergstrom will talk about the #SaveLACougars campaign and how you can get involved in the push to build a wildlife crossing in Liberty Canyon.
The event is free and open to the public.
