This month, we happily welcome back Dr. Woody Clark II as our guest speaker. Dr. Clark is a qualitative economist, and served as Renewable Energy Advisor to Gov. Gray Davis’ Office of Planning and Research from 2000 to 2003. A Fulbright Scholar, he earned his master’s degrees at the University of Illinois, Urbana, Roosevelt University and Loyola University, Chicago, and his Ph.D. at University of California, Berkeley. Since 2004, Dr. Clark founded and is managing director of Clark Strategic Partners, an international sustainable communities consulting firm based in Los Angeles. He will talk with us about his newest book, The Next Economics: Global Cases in Energy, Environment and Climate Change, about how to pay for the solutions to climate change.
